I’m a poet, writer and watchkeeper, living among the mountains of Eryri in Gogledd Cymru. Swifts and curlews, glittering streams, strong winds and long shadows delight me.

Until I retired for health reasons in 2023, I was an academic in Religious Studies. I believe greater religious, spiritual and cultural literacy would make the world a better place, and I’m inspired by people who work for justice, equality, community and the natural world.

I’m grateful to be in long-term recovery from addiction, and, these days, I’m filled more with joy than with sorrow.
